Do you take insurance?
Our practice does not contract with insurance companies at this time. However, superbills are generated for each patient that can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement as out-of-network care. If affordability is a concern, please contact us for sliding scale pricing. We strive to ensure that mental health care is affordable for everyone in our community.
Group/Organization FAQs
Is BB Psych the right fit for my group/organization?
BB Psych is for individuals and organizations that value community care – those who know or want to educate themselves more about how mental health impacts every facet of our home and work lives, and who strive to create spaces where all of us are able to show up fully and authentically. People who are struggling often feel they must keep quiet about the challenges they face. We hope to empower work and organizational communities to reject these norms, which will ideally lead to a healthier workplace culture, increased engagement and productivity, and other downstream benefits.
Why should we choose BB Psych?
Dr. Burke completed psychiatry residency at Emory University, where she gained insider knowledge of the Emory, Grady, and Veterans Affairs health systems. She learned their pros, cons, and their many barriers to access. As a first-generation physician (and now also entrepreneur) it has always been her goal to ensure that all people have access to compassionate, high-quality mental health care and education. Additionally, as a mixed-race Asian American, she has a deep understanding of the factors that influence attitudes and knowledge about mental health conditions and treatments. Dr. Burke is well-equipped to help folks from all backgrounds reduce stigma and increase wellness individually and beyond.
